Fàilte a ’Phrionnsapail

My name is Jack Irwin and I have been appointed Head Boy of ICD for the academic year 2024/2025.

I joined ICD in 2018 following seven years at Killyman Primary School. I was nervous but also excited to start a new chapter in my educational journey.

This programme is delivered, for the College, by The Football Management Company in partnership with the Northern Ireland Football League (NIFL).

Students seeking admission to the NIFL Scholarship Programme to study a BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Sport Studies are required to have passed a minimum of 5 GCSEs Grade A* - C, ideally including English and Maths.  A demonstrable track record in youth football is also required. Trial matches and a personal interview form part of the selection process.  Players may be vouched for by the Head of Academy at their NIFL club.  A combination of skills and academic ability will be used for selection purposes.
