HOW YOU WILL BE ASSESSED

The course will be assessed by examination of the four skill areas of listening, speaking, reading and writing.

Each skill area is offered in two tiers: Foundation and Higher.

Career Opportunities

Irish is a modern language of the European Union. It is essential for some public appointments in the Republic of Ireland e.g. teaching, army and Civil Service. Occupations include teaching and translating etc.
