ICD come second in Cross Community Netball Tournament

Seven local schools competed in the recent Cross Community
netball tournament hosted by Fivemiletown College. The Dungannon girls
finished top of their group which set up a semi-final with St Josephs
Donaghamore. This was a close and exciting game, with the scores level
at the interval, however it was to be the ICD girls day as they came
out strong in the second half and paid off with a 3 goal advantage at
the final whistle.
The final set up a clash between familiar opponents Cookstown High School,
but on the day Cookstown were stronger and claimed the victory with
a 5 goal advantage.
The ICD girls are to be congratulated on some fantastic performances
and finishing second in the tournament is a great achievement.
