Cross Country Success in Dungannon park

At the recent E District championships in Dungannon Park ICD students were to the fore in many of the races. In the Junior Girls race Emma Rice ran from the front to come home in 1st place. In the next race Megan Bothwell ran strongly to com home in 2nd place. A hat-trick of girls success was completed by Fionnuala Ross who won the Senior Girls race. The Inter Boys team also ran well to finish 2nd in the team race. The team was; Kevin McCool, Joe Collins, Cormac Dolan, Martin Gervin, Ross McDonald, Alan Ford, Chris Lockhart. All these students will represent the College in the Ulster Finals].

This success follows on from excellent performances from Fionnuala Ross, Emma Rice and Joe Collins at the All Ireland Age Group Championships. All three students represented Ulster with distinction.
