Integrated College Dungannon (ICD) Principal, Mr Andrew Sleeth, held a special assembly recently to praise the hard work of students, their participation in events, and many successes. Teaching staff at ICD nominate students each term for recognition at this special assembly. 'While our college’s first aim is academic success and we have had great examination successes, academic achievement is not the only measure of a student's success. All that we ask of our students is that they give their personal best in their daily life here at ICD. Each term, it is a pleasure for me to hold this special assembly and to call out the names of so many students, recommended for praise by their teachers for excelling in some aspect of college life', said Mr Andrew Sleeth, College Principal. Students at the assembly were praised for; attendance, scholarships, class work, athletics, examination results, charity work, sporting achievements, good manners and also for their external achievements. Year Group Ambassador rewards were presented to students from each year group. Integrated College Dungannon continues to hold 'readiness to learn' and 'praise' assemblies to acknowledge the many positive attributes of the students and their many successes.
