Science Department Latest News
Primary Science Quiz – December 2009
On Thursday 4th December Integrated College Dungannon held a Science Quiz for Primary Six pupils. This event encouraged fun and imagination in the area of Science to develop literacy, numarcy and creative skills. Pupils from Saints and Scholars, Windmill, Howard, Bush and Dungannon Primary Schools attended the event and the successful winners were Windmill Primary School, awarded with the I.C.D. Science Trophy and a cheque of £100 for Science resources. Event organiser and Science teacher Deirdre McShane commented that 'the event was a great success; this was a wonderful opportunity for young pupils, to support and promote sustainable development of the skills aquired in Science'.
