Somme Heritage Visit
for ICD Students
Sixth form History classes from ICD were among a number of schools
which attended a recent A’ Level conference in Newtownards.
The conference, on the causes of the 2nd World War, was held at
the Somme Heritage Centre and included lectures presented by specialists
on the subject, a very interesting talk given by a World War II
veteran and a tour of the exhibits at the Centre.
